Turfgrass:
Apply Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand at a rate of 40 lbs. per 1,000 square feet on new and existing turfgrasses. Water in thoroughly.

Annuals & Perennials:
Apply Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand at the rate of 40 lbs. per 1,000 square feet of existing area or area to be planted. Water in thoroughly.

Potted or Container Plants:
Mix 1/2 lb. of Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand per gallon of container size, 3 times a year. Water in thoroughly.

Roses:
Use 1/2 lb. of Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand per gallon of container at planting. Apply 1 cup around the base of existing plants. Water in thoroughly.

Vegetable Gardens:
Mix 40 lbs. of Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand per 10’x100’ section in the existing planted area or the area to be planted. Water in thoroughly.

Trees & Shrubs:
Prepare a hole 1/3 – 1/2 larger than the root ball of the shrub or tree. Mix 20% of Nature’s Creation® Lava Sand with the planting mix or the existing soil. Fill in the hole with the prepared mix. The root ball should be level with the ground. Water in thoroughly.
